Update is very important to both parties involved, the interviewee needs to know the status of the job offer, likewise, the interviewer needs to know the current state of the interviewee if he is still ready to work with them

"Excited to update you on my recent accomplishments – [mention relevant achievement]. Still very interested in the [role] at [company]. Any updates on the hiring process and timeline? Eager to move forward!"

I found this way helpful in my circumstances. Once I was interviewed for the Social Media Warrior position at one of Pakistan's biggest enterprises. Fortunately, on the same day, I passed my HubSpot social media marketing certification exam and shared that accomplishment update on my WhatsApp status. The interviewer saw it, replied to that status, and hired me.
