Communication is hindered when there are different forms of noise disrupting it. For eg, when I contact my manager for administrative assistance, they have a pre-conceived notion about me and hence, fail to completely absorb the idea I try to put forward. This creates a barrier and in the long run, a chain of miscommunication and dissatisfaction. To combat barriers like these, an open and free mindset shall be cultivated to allow ideas to flow from all directions.

In my experience, not being able to share positive ideas can be a very terrible mistake in communication. Not only does it show your intelligence but also suitability for the position and understanding of your job. At the end of the day we all make wrong decisions, we need that person to correct or add their opinion not always saying yes to whatever is decided by your mentor. Caution is, it has to be done professionally with all due respect
