For example, a learning management solution for urban students will be completely different from one that is specifically designed for rural students. It will vary according to needs of users and their respective contexts. We had to once design an LMS for students of rural Tamil Nadu, and took a completely different approach towards it than what a standard LMS would have required, taking users' familiarity with tech for granted. For our LMS, we re-envisioned even the log-in, considering this would be the first digital product for your users, students living in rural areas, with no access to stable network, a given in any urban setting.
Product development can be a long process and very costly. You need to find the sweet spot between time to market and cost to market. If you launch too soon with a product that is sub par, you will loose customers or spend a lot to improve the product. If you wait too long, your competitors will beat you to market.
