It’s the branch itself, does the staff get along, how is morale? If you find your first gig outside of library school isn’t a fit, don’t write off librarianship completely but try around. If the team isn’t well then the patrons will suffer indirectly due to low morale (callouts, programs cancelled because lack of staff, staff who pass the buck around instead of just helping the patrons, having to pick up work for others and more)

Also look for the reporting lines, approval process and decision making authority you will yield.
