Creating a memorable experience for any customer, patient, client, and yes employee is knowing your product but also knowing the competition as well as what individual needs that particular person has to live, be happy, and basically enjoy the day to day life for each person. My personal preference is casual conversation and sharing experiences. Another big one for me lead by example…stand your ground so that you can help them when they need help or information.

For a client to believe you are selling them the best product for their requirements, you need to be able to demonstrate the reasons behind why you feel this is the right product for them. Knowledge of the product, benefits of the product, and what type of guarantee is offered. If you do not know the answer about a product when a customer asks, don't guess, give accurate information.

If they’re defensive, I’d ask myself why and try to get them to relax. Just depends on the person and how well you can read people and simple things. People crossing their arms in a defensive way or standing stick straight, but still have a loose stance. Those are things that matter, believe it or not. Just remember, that’s the same body language your customers are going to see & feel.
