In developing My Math Academy, we've implemented a technology-driven, games-based learning strategy based on Self-Determination Theory—a psychological framework for human motivation—that enhances student interest: Autonomy: Learners choose their educational paths and advance at their own pace. Competence: We tailor challenges to individual skill levels, promoting development and achievement. Relatedness: Engaging narratives and characters help forge meaningful connections with the material. Multiple studies support our approach, showing that it significantly improves learning outcomes and increases enjoyment and engagement in the subject.

Technology has a huge role to play in student engagement. Students are now tech-savvy and technology should be used to provide interactive contents, engaging activities and technology-led online discussions. For example, gamification is an interesting tool to explore as gamified platforms can make education more interactive and engaging while at the same time, motivating students to engage more actively in their learning process. On the other hand, already popular tools such as VR and AR, can be used to create immersive learning experiences more accessible and interactive.

Educational softwares,online platforms offer interactive learning experiences that captivate students' interest & encourage active participation in their learning process. Digital resources such as videos, animations, simulations & virtual reality (VR) experiences provide engaging, immersive learning opportunities that appeal to different learning style. Educational games & gamified learning activities leverage game mechanics to motivate, challenge students, making learning more enjoyable & rewarding. It enables students to connect their learning through virtual field trips, guest speakers, online research,which facilitate collaborative learning experiences allowing students to work together communicate with peers both in-person & remotely.

As a teacher, I have tried in my way possible to include multimedia into my lesson delivery. I have come to a conclusion that, many of my learners positively engage in the lessons and quickly grasp the ideas intended. They are able to critically think before giving an answer and it's also helping to develop digital literacy.

I gain an enormous amount of knowledge from using assistive softwares in my lesson contents generation, lesson preparation, lesson delivery as well as in administrative assignments. My lesson delivery is more exciting and fun as a result of the new teaching strategies I am introduced to and this improves my work output.

Technology-based training tools should do most of the heavy lifting so that instructors can teach less while students learn more. Instructor should be freed up to act as coaches rather than the providers of content.

Targeted technology can improve the efficiency of non student facing time. Use real time grading, AI to modify texts and assessments, generate standardized practice, the list goes on. Let tech be the personal assistant in planning and feedback so you have more time to talk with your students.
