The main idea is to be able to implement the concept of technology whatever the programming language. So in any field we must focus on the concepts not the programming language because all programming languages are almost the same.

Many of mobile app developers have chosen the short cut by actually just assembling third party tools without proper understanding of fundamentals. It’s important to take a first principle design approach, understand the requirements before starting the developments. Also mobile app developers should learn about API first microservice development/delivery and apply that to front end mobile development.

Sometimes it's not the actual technology that is needed to improve. It doesn't matter what programming language you're using of you don't understand your end user. It's important to understand those who are going to use this app. I've seen many examples of good engineering that failed to mobilize users, mainly because of bad understanding of value proposition and target audience.

We’re transiting from the Mobile Internet to Cognitive Internet Era driven by AI, Automationand Autonomous Decisin-Making. Nevertheless taking courses and workshops, also focusing on soft skills play a vital role in keeping ahead in one’s job.

Don't limit yourself to the module(s) you are working in but learn about the 5G, 5G advanced and further evolution system architecture as a whole by going through the corresponding specifications - 3GPP, ORAN, etc. Work towards becoming a Cellular System Engineer/Architect.

From a technology profession-perspective, sharing few pointers from my experience to keeping abreast with trends and innovations in mobile/communications technologies: 1. Keep visiting and learning from SDO (Standards Development Organizations) websites, which are the source and disseminators of technological innovations and standards of communication technologies. 2. If the technical language/jargons are difficult to comprehend, then refer to couple of reliable tutorial-giving websites for easy-to-understand versions facilitated by illustrative and/or analogy-based teachings. 3. Connect with communications technology experts on reliable platforms (as Linkedin).

I believe that soft skills are key to making an impact in any area, but even more so in a technical field where many engineers are impatient with people who don’t understand, yet those people are the core end-user.

Gain proficiency in analyzing user data to make informed decisions and optimize mobile strategies. Familiarize yourself with mobile advertising, app store optimization, and other strategies to promote mobile apps effectively.

The more you advance in your career the more you deal with people and less with technical issues. Only with a good set of soft skills you will keep momentum.

Resulta bastante ideal poder desarrollar la capacidad de trabajar en equipo y con gente de otras áreas, sobretodo si el enfoque de uno se encuentra en el novedoso campo del Internet of Things, donde hay un montón de posibles usuarios de estas aplicaciones, los cuales tienen ideas pero desconocen como implementarlas mediante las comunicaciones moviles, donde uno puede ser participe de estos proyectos mediante estos conocimientos y llevando ideas de distintos campos a la realidad, como la agricultura, medicina, vivienda, etc.

It is unlikely put together in the same individual a large experience in mobile field with broadly experience coding. One way to do so is allowing mentorship process to happen among the right people. People with extensive experience in the mobile field typically possess specialized knowledge related to mobile app development, mobile operating systems, and mobile-specific challenges and opportunities. On the other hand, individuals with broad coding experience may have a wider understanding of programming languages, algorithms, and software architecture that can be applied across different domains. The gap arises when someone with a coder expertise wants to enter the mobile field but lacks specific expertise. Mentorship is a good solution.

Make sure you learn basis, evolve in the next step to either into depth or broad skills. Both are good. But first pick one and excel. The you gain trust, deliver and get more responsibility from your peers and managers. My favorites after more then 30 years in the industry is hw/frontend/RF asic area and the combination of embedded SW with system understanding. If you are good in this areas you can get anywhere you like. But first learn basics and get a good fundament.

This will help create a better architecture both from the application side and also overall system perspective. 2. Limiting to only app development will also lead to saturation at some point.
