Personally I believe that for the last miles this is by far the best and most sustainable solution. With the only real limitations being capacity. Cargo bikes are getting bigger and better by the day though. Weather conditions can be dressed to and although safety might differ per country and available infrastructure I don’t believe it to be a valid showstopper. The health and well-being upside should way heavier on the upside with this choice as well. So go hop on that bike and create new sustainable velocity. #goodjobcyclist

The trickiest part of logistics is the multimodal transportation where it can be hugely beneficial when the right combination of resources are utilized however it requires extremely synced and well coordinated collaboration across various functions. Without a seamless communication channel and real time data analytics, this could become perhaps the worst form of logistics in any industry.

Circular logistics is a trending term since almost 10 years, but it remains difficult in daily logistics. We see a lot of initiatives rising to promote circular city logistics, but the step from pilots to viable logistic models seems often to big. Governments will need to discourage the use of cheap and one way practices by regulations in order to change mentalities and cultures.
