NumPy is the first and foremost tool for data prep. It can do almost anything and it's really quick. Personally, I do 99.99% of my data prep tasks using NumPy. However, to utilize the true power of this library, one must take a lot of time studying it, reading its documentations and practice it during multiple projects. Important features of NumPy for me: - Memory Maps - Indirect Indexing (a[b[c]]) - Linear Algebra (np.linalg) - Randomization tools (np.random) - Integration with other packages like Numba.
