What are the most popular game testing tools?

The Game Engines which I've heard get the most 'buzz' here on LinkedIn have been the following: - Unreal - Unity - Godot Truthfully, my favorite of the three has to lean more towards Unreal, as it seems to favor crafting 3D games as well as has a more stable "Pro-Creator" ToS in comparison to Unity. However, it's also good to consider potentially developing your own engine! While it may be a lot of work, there's no fear of "owing" anyone. You can be and act as your own platform!!! As far as game testing the only things that are likely to be standardized are tools for the bug database and tools for test plans. JIRA is fairly industry standard as far as a bug/task database goes but there's other things like Hansoft you'll see used here and there as well. As far as test plan tools that's a bit more murky. Most start life as an excel sheet but as your testing efforts get more complicated it can be good to have a tool to more accurate track test runs and log pass/fail metrics of the various test cases to help get a better picture of the overall title health in a way beyond just the bug database. While I was at Volition we used Testrail to some level of success here but I feel like we were only scratching the surface.

Tools are tools, meaning, the application that can get the job done within a desired amount of time, no matter which tool it is. The more experienced within the tools, the better it is to rapidly deploy, no hesitation. For example, If I were to make a game in Unity or Unreal with a deadline of one-month, I'd choose Unity due to the fact of having more experience technical skills wise, and can deploy faster.

Optimization is a term that doesn't have so much weight these days. This is wrong by all means, and gamers got sick of end products that load their PC's at 100% capacity, crash, and so on. In the name of the entire gaming industry, just optimize your games! Do not do cross-platform if you aren't able to optimize the product for more than 1 platform!

Well... feedback is feedback. It can be constructive, if addressed properly, but gaming is all about sentiment and passion, so often, your players won't be so "impartial" when giving feedback. If your game is buggy, laggy, and can't be played, yo u should know before launching it... so don't get surprised when bad feedback comes at you :) Check CyberPunk ...
