I think this choice depends on the audience and the problems. In business it's usually Times new Romany, but sometimes other sources are interesting. Size is also very important.

Some popular Sans Serif fonts for presentations that are free from Google Fonts or already included on Windows are: Roboto DM Sans Open Sans Poppins Montserrat Century Gothic Inter Arial Source Sans Pro These are all effective choices for a primary font for using in presents. I recommend sticking to one font family and using different weights Bold, Medium, Regular & Light.

I don’t recommend using too many script typefaces in a presentation. They can be difficult to see a further distances away from the presentation screen when presenting at a conference. If you do use them stick to a quote or statement and make sure the font type size is at least 72 points.

I prefer selecting fonts as mentioned above, based completely on my purpose and the audience. I feel fonts have displays personality and emotions. If my tone is ‘Serious’, I prefer Serif Fonts (authoritative personality). When I want to show lighter emotions, I prefer Sans Serif. To understand the difference - Serifs are those tails on the letters, Sans Serif would be the absence of those tails. Doesn’t matter what the emotion is, the main purpose of writing on a slide is for its legibility. Depending on the size of the screen we are presenting on, we should be careful whether the audience will be able to read the text from faraway. As a rule of thumb, don’t go below 30pts. But feel free to experiment with the size, the type, and the mix.
