Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) is becoming increasingly important. I believe this needs to be expanded to include Safety, Operations and Maintenance and Disassembly (End-of-life). Therefore I believe we need to move towards a Design for Sustainable Product Lifecycle to ensure each phase of the project is considered from a very early stage. BIM/3DModelling are key enablers for DSPL (everyone loves a new acronym!!). AI offers further improvements in this area - automation of document production to support development of Health and Safety Files and O&M Manuals should be achievable based on the design. Automation of Method Statements and Construction Management Plans should also be possible with AI.

Es necesario que la implementación de SGC sea bilateral es decir entre el prestador de servicio como el cliente, ya que el desconocimiento del funcionamiento de la calidad en los controles, procedimientos o estrategias, puede crear conflictos al no estructurar de manera orgánica ante el proyecto en cuestión; así mismo contar con un SGC demasiado robusto ocasiona redundancia y mayores desviaciones, que beneficios de eficiencia y resultados finales. En la obra así mismo es fundamental que la comunicación de controles de SGC sean de conocimiento uniforme para contar con un fin común desde el anteproyecto, limitando la presencia de fallas estructurales de la entrega final de cualquier construcción y tipo.
