Even most of the current practices today focus primarily on generation and optimization of energy; waste management; water management; and public transportation ignoring area/region specific aspects of natural environment.

LA seeks to understand the dynamic flows of land and water, climate and habitat; and its practice reinforces respect and humility towards this impermanence. LA is also an art form so the opportunity for contemporary Indigenous expression is real and worth pursuing.
