While updating your portfolio after the interview will also be helpful, doing it before applying for the job will allow you to reap the most rewards.

After the interview do self assessment of where you can do better and what are skills you know but never mentioned in your CV. 1) Update the relevant areas or skills in your CV that you missed and the interviewer asked. 2) Update the Project description as you explained in the Interview with more relevant information about skill set you used. 3)Update Soft skills set as when it will give you more weight in the next interview and prepare the questions around soft skills
