Always, Always and Always! Do not limit the recommendations to just merely one or two choices. Give them alternatives as well to choose with different taste buds and different moods. Consider yourself as a guest and ask yourself, don't you wish to experiment with your tastebuds sometimes and try out something out of regular just to break the monotony and add variety to your life? Likewise think about the guest experience and suggest alternatives accordingly!

The process begins pre the request. The Concierge must have detailed information and perhaps have visited the sites of all the restaurants they have in their recommended list. Understand what kind of experience the guest is looking for - ambience, dining style, cuisine, cost (if appropriate to enquire), location, etc etc. Be clear as to why you are recommending that particular restaurant - recommended by others, credible award winner, personal experience, etc. never add a disclaimer that makes the guest question your choice. Offer to make arrangements like a reservation, transport, etc. Try to take feedback from the guest post their experience.
