Jumping to conclusions or making decisions based on assumptions, in my experience, usually turns out bad! Don't be afraid to ask questions, even if you think it's remedial. Also, do the research -- Google the question, see if you can find the answer, rely on your team and your leadership. Look at forums, blogs, whatever you have to. Then when you think you have all your assumptions answered, bring in an outsider to tear your idea apart and address their assumptions.

When you are facing an issue in the network, your skill and expertise can help you discard some unlikely scenarios, but you can't keep up with an answer without having as much information as you can get about the issue. The more information and details you can get, more closer to making a detailed diagnostic that can help fix the issue.

If you are lucky, jumping into conclusion might be right. But in my experience, jumping into conclusion, based on assumption without gathering enough information or evidence turns out bad. Try to use a logical and systematic process to solve or look for root cause on a specific issue in the network. Using the proper documentation and proper tools to analyze the data. These will give you a better chance to resolve any issue and build a better way to resolve any problem that might arise. Look for feedback as well if needed.

Any conclusions you do have, jump from them, not to them. Being that a network is a dynamic environment, every change or implementation has consequences. This is why conclusions are launchpads, not destinations. Whatever your final implementation is, it'll be a researched, tested and verified solution, not a conclusion. And, it may only be a single implementation towards a much more complex solution, depending on what the problem is obscuring.

When you jump to conclusion without detailed information, asking the relevant and important questions, and above all taking a critical look at problems. The problems remains unsolve no matter how long you try to solve. It is important to use free to sources to conduct research and get facts correctly before making decisions.

In our technical domain, true learning stems from hands-on implementation. Reflecting on my early career experiences, I recall a situation where I was responsible of occurring a sudden blackout in a specific area. My seniors encouraged me to tackle the issue without hesitation, assuring me the freedom to explore any necessary rectifications. This empowerment not only allowed me to take the lead but also facilitated significant learning through independent troubleshooting.

Some collaborators takes the requirement if update as a kind of pressure whereas it is not the case. It is simply a way to know whether you need help or there is a need to require more time from the client to complete the task. However, communication is a great tool in project monitoring.

In my experience, the first solution could be the best, but if you haven't collaborated with others -- you're missing something. The first solution is usually not the best! Don’t be afraid to deploy a solution, gather feedback, and iteratively upgrade the solution you built. To define success make sure you create KPI that align with use cases you designed for.

Be willing to say yes! I am not a 'yes person' who says yes to anything -- no, your boundaries, available time, and enforce both. But I am willing to do something new, especially if it is out of your comfort zone. Unlike #5, which is wrapped around fear, instead, don't say, "No, that's not my job." because this makes you seem difficult. Being willing to put yourself out there, learn something new, and be coachable is critical to success. I think, generally, this may apply to most career fields.
