I'm torn here, on one hand my BA hat says that engaged employees should be reflected in something like an internal NPS survey. But, on the other hand, I know that employees (and people in general) don't always understand their emotions and feelings well enough to articulate what they like/dislike. Maybe the happy middle is one-on-one (or small groups) NPS 'styled' talks with your staff to be able to dig more into their responses without forcing them to fill out 50 bubbles and provide the same comments over and over again.

Effective transformation is more about "up-leveling" the game and roles involved than the tools or technology they use to interact or transact. It is when your business can continually expand, contract, change and SERVE better, faster and easier than your competitors. While the above KPIs are good and needed, they measure the "golden eggs" (output/outcome of the improvement). Even more important is to continually measure and monitor the "health of the golden goose" that is laying them. + RPE (Revenue per Employee) + Net Income + TTM (Time to Market) + % Market Share Gain + Next Level Competency and Capacity expansion + % Regrettable Attrition + % Employee Equity (of shares outstanding)
