I have refurbished computers since 1982. With the low cost of a new computer in contrast to refurbishing and old or outdated computer, the best solution is to upgrade to a new computer. It will save a lot of time and tedious component checking/testing. It will also have the latest components, such as, TPM (Trusted Platform Module) needed for Windows 11.
