Email storage on an ATS is a fail-safe to your email server crashing, emails going down or even being lost. Different ATS have different capacities and come at a different cost. As someone who has implemented ATS and HRIS within different organizations, I would truly suggest you look at your actual needs and plan accordingly. Yes it may be nice to have that ATS with all those additional functions, but do you really need them? And if so at what cost?
