The importance of reducing single-use items—it's not just a choice, it's a necessity nowadays. And while choosing a green venue is ideal, it's often accompanied by hefty price tags. So, what's the solution? Meticulous planning & setting achievable goals. Reducing our environmental impact isn't a sprint; it's a marathon, and it demands consistent effort and speed. By creating tangible KPIs before the event, with clear tasks and efforts to be made not only during but also AFTER the event. And documenting the journey of each element, and tracking the percentages recycled, reused, & repurposed (and whatnot), we can showcase the progress and results, not only setting a benchmark for ourselves but also inspiring others to follow suit.
