Finding your niche in the marketplace usually involves identifying your strengths and creating a plan for long-term success. You want to establish a loyal customer or client base so that you can increase your revenue.

I fully agree with this perspective , but in some cases while focusing on specialized area you should master the whole area and holistic view of the context / business. Else you will loose the connections and also how your specialized area is related to other parys of the business / problem .

This is crucially important. Decide your niche is like deciding your personal brand positioning. Don't try to cover every service that you can offer but pick one that your strength is, find out where your uniqueness compared to your competitor, and be the expert on that particular field. Don't be the 70% person but be the 100% of your professional.

If you don't have any new portfolio to show at the beginning, then offer free services to help anyone of your friends, or family members, or perhaps you can use social media ads to promote your own services. As long as at the end of the day, you manage to prove that you show results, there will be a bunch of people who will be willing to get your services. Once you gather some portfolio, compile it and organize in a professional way. Spread your portfolio to any platforms that are able to meet your potential clients. But do not hard sell. Professionally share your portfolio. Just highlight what result you bring along to the project.

Share valuable info but remain curious to your audience. For example, you can share 60% of the piece of info but always encourage them to continue to view your content in your next videos. Create different format of content even like short video , long video, carosell, infographic and so on.. just differ the delivery format even it is the same content title. As different platform, you will meet different users.
