Increasing production efficiency and productivity is okay but why in short term ? 1. Plan to utilize, get effective time utilization. Do the tool change effectively with less down time. 2. Get the capacity per hour production. 3. Train the man power with multi skilling , 4. Reduce the waste by implementing,process control measure ,control the key process parameters which influence the quality. 5. Use predictive maintenance and plan maintenance activities. 5. Update machinery and change the replacement parts timely. 6. Automize the machines with lattest technology.

Tracking of daily activity during operation is very important. While anyone start this, he can understand the waste that happen during operation. Simply reducing the waste from system increase the efficiency & production capacity & reduce the chance of error.

In adopting an overall production efficiency, a key step is Value Stream Mapping. This involves conducting a thorough current state value stream mapping and envisioning an optimized future state. Identifying opportunities to get to the future state. Subsequently, initiating Kaizen blitzes through Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) on those opportunities becomes instrumental in addressing the prioritized areas. To ensure tangible progress, regular and sharp A3 Kaizen checks are integrated into the framework, enabling the systematic review of advancements achieved through each Kaizen blitz.

Monitor Performance at the spot. Get the floor level people who are touching the process involved. Many times just the simple act of keeping score gives motivation to the team and drives immediate small improvements.
