Incentivize and empower! Offering a reward or an opportunity to “win” can motivate those who struggle to make progress on their own. And mentoring - making the switch from “can I?” to “I can” builds confidence.

Teller is one of the important & critical activity in the branch. The teller should trained in internal process of the bank so that he should be alert & vigilant his counter the type of customer he is servicing. We should create a culture to trust him. He is person whom we should look upto to for improvement in the process of tellers because he is hands in his area of work. The thought process comes to my mind is that bank should Equip the teller with good efficient products to him so that he is fast, quick & responsive.

Usually tellers don't open up most often as they are binded to follow the built in process formed by the organisation with respect to the rules and guidelines and even if they suggest they believe their suggestions wont b actioned as they are already following the guidelines but actioning their suggestions would encourage them more to work efficiently and think in a different perspective while not disregarding the standard guidelines. There should be various brainstorming sessions amongst group so that people can share each other's idea and this collection of idea can result into a perfect solution for any problem.

Yes I agree we should give proper training & ask about his interests other the teller job. This will help in building & guiding his career.

This is very important because we should always expose the teller other depts. Cross functional depts should be encouraged as they learn new things and also help them in their career. Collaboration & teamwork is very important for every employee in the organisation this fosters the employee interest & creativity. This also bring out their strength in them.

I strongly agree with this point, as encouraging them would help them perform more efficiently and stay loyal to what they are doing and it will create a positive atmosphere. Its believed that if a person starts loving his job or starts enjoying his job everything falls in the right place by default

Automation and Simplification of Most of the transactions performed at tellers. For instance cross currency transactions, Multiple transactions such as debits and credit to avoid typo errors and imbalances
