What are the most effective ways to follow up with your audience after an online presentation?

Personal relationships are critical in business, so there are a few follow-up activites I always recommend, geared toward building relationship and NOT sales focused. - Connect on LinkedIn right away and start following each person, liking and commenting on their activity. Even just a birthday wish is nice. - Always focus on what YOU can do for THEM, not the opposite. So if you can offer additional materials, presentations, etc. - by all means, do it! - Add them to your marketing tool, but always give them the option to opt-in to what they want. We have 8 general catagories, and targets can select anywhere from 0-8 options. - Make yourself available for additonal questions or informatin right away

A thank you email is a great way to sort this. Be sure to check you only send it to those who signed in and showed up. The automated email "thank you's" that some platforms offer send to all registrations regardless of who actually showed. Therefore, this can be best as a manual process. You can still use your email software (EG Mailchimp) just manually tag the people who show up and create a specific email tag for this group of people. Thank them, offer them any bonuses you spoke about (Provide links etc). You could also add some surprise bonuses such as a recording of the event (If that's possible). This helps deliver extra value to the client without too much extra effort on your part.

Send thanks email to participants and ask about topic, how was it what they understand and what question arise in their minds. After a week again send an email ie hope you all understood but any how I am available to answer your questions any time. This ll help you to get feedback.

Actively ask for feedback. This could be a Google questionnaire, or CRM based feedback from added to the bottom of the email. You could offer an ethical incentive for this, such as a copy of the webinar recording, or an additional lead magnet. You could go even further and ask for a video interview on zoom with a team member for further research if appropriate. The more information you get the better!

Have your social media links everywhere, but be subtle about it. Links at the bottom of webpages, in your email footers, etc, are fine. However, do not go overboard with it. It is the easiest way for you to add value to your clients in a "1-to-many" capacity. It is also the most obvious one, and the one people may get "sickest" of quickest, especially if you oversell and don't deliver value most of the time. Ensure your response on your socials is as quick a possible. One way of achieving this is using Meta Business Suite or similar built-in tools to assist you, or a Virtual Assistant. Again, this helps show value to your clients and get more people to your webinars. This increases opportunities for research.
