You can create 3D models with text-to-3D model apps such as Genie by Luma AI - which is currently free. I have had success creating basic 3D models that can be downloaded in different file formats with various resolutions. The low-resolution files are great for AR. The models can be easily animated in 3D software. Often when I purchase 3D models from various sites the files are not what they advertise to be or they are missing features which can be very frustrating. You also have to consider the licensing language associated with each model as most models do not allow royalty-free unlimited use.

A shortcut is to find an existing 3D model and adapt it to your use case. I like to find models with permissive licenses and then I modify the mesh and/or change the textures to suit my use case.
