1 Plan ahead

Hay que asignar suficiente tiempo a la revision. Yo dedico el mismo tiempo a traducir y a revisar mis propios textos. Por eso tengo que calcular muy bien los plazos para mis traducciones.

1: Know your reading speed, expressed in words per minute. Count the words in source and target. You need time to read both. If the time you get to review a translation, is less than what the calculation is, don't accept the job. You'll fail and will be held responsible for the translation quality. 2: if it becomes clear the translation is not human, reject the job or renegotiate the price. You won't be doing review work but MTPE, and that's always more work and more tricky than reviewing human output. 3: review a page or 2. Then extrapolate. It you can't make the deadline, tell the customer immediately.

Puedes pedir una segunda opinion si estas muy inseguro. Esto alarga mucho los plazos y en mi experiencia hay veces que los que son muy expertos en un tema no te dan el mejor consejo. No creo que sea muy util leer la traduccion en voz alta, pero ya leerla al reves me parece de locos. Una fantasia
