Reading the word 'logical puzzles' makes me remember the DILR section of CAT, dreaded by almost everyone. However I could secure 99.24%ile in the DILR section in CAT 2022. Some techniques I used: 1) Choose easier one- If you are solving puzzles in an exam, attempt the easiest & easier as it would be attempted by most students correctly. 2) Finding the soul of the question. - Usually one condition or one direction in the question has the soul/trick of the question which if you grasp you can solve in less time. 3) Think in Reverse order (ulta) i.e. rather than what is the answer, think about how to adjust the situation to bring the answer. Especially in the case of the min/max type of questions asked in the CAT, this helped me. Thanks.
