This is due to the high cost of importation of the solar panels and their associated batteries. For environmental purity and climate change mitigation governments in these countries need to reduce dramatically import taxes on solar panels and batteries to make them affordable.

My comments I have put for solar energy also hold good for wind power source as well. This source can be very effective for western part of India like Rajasthan and coastal areas such as in Gujarat.. Owner of this system cannot be expected to maintain it effectively.

Hydroelectric power, so far, if we speak about big volumes of electricity usually required for industrial sites, is the most reliable, predictable and effective source. This is the answer. The only problem could be the distance till consumer (power losses due to transmission). Wind and/or solar combined with energy storage systems soon can be not worse option in case battery price became cheaper than today.

And this does work globally chinese chicken farms powering 10.000 of houses as well as dutch green houses be a circular system doing the same. Reduce waste and create power!

If there is available geothermal capacity in the region it would provide extremely useful for a facility, the geothermal well could both provide useable heat as well as efficient and high capacity factor electrical power through the implementation of ORC systems. On the other hand geothermal energy could be furher utilized for greenhouse farming post energy production.

Para dar suministro eléctrico a una planta industrial lo mejor es contar con fuentes de energía estables y constantes y desde luego la geotermia es una de ellas. No va a sufrir ni subidas ni bajadas con las horas del sol o no va a depender de la meteorología.

The best energy solution considers your availability, reliability, adequacy, security, and pricing needs. For instance, Solar is a great resource but Solar is not available 24x7. If designing for a Data Center use case, you need a solution that is highly availability, very reliable, exhibits high capacity and volume with little variation, high energy security, and stable pricing mechanics. In this use case you will need to blend several of the renewable options to ensure power is available all the time. Another option is to use an energy storage solution. There best renewable option is tied to the use case.

Energy efficiency may also be regarded as a source of renewable energy. Energy saved is, in effect, energy generated. The scope of energy efficiency is indeed wide.
