It's important to understand what type of personal brand you'd like to project. Personal branding is the process of intentionally creating & shaping your public image. Your survey questions should validate this image! - Expertise: You may be good at multiple things, but you want to be known for one thing you do very well. Specificity & and exclusivity resonate better! - Passion: When your passion and expertise align you'll come across as authentic. - Values: What are your core values? - Communication style: This is aligned with your personality. If you are an easy-going fun-loving person, your style will have humor and smiles, for instance. Your survey questions should be to unearth their perception of these personal branding elements.

How would you like people to know you? This is a powerful question to ask yourself right! We grow up with this conditioning from when we are very little. What our near and dear ones think of us has an influence on our personalities. I recall my parents often voicing an observation about my creative presentation skills. This encouraged me to hone this skill in my career and excel at it. Knowing from those around you about what they see you as, is the first step in self-development. So, let's ask those around us. Family, friends, peers. They will provide you with insightful observations. Be hungry for that and use that data as an opportunity and take necessary steps to identify and work towards personal branding.
