Conceptualize and implement a data platform to collect, cleanse, and transform data. This is not easy as it sounds. Some of the steps are 1) Data will come from disparate sources in various formats at different frequencies. Integrations have to be developed with both internal and 3rd party systems to collect and ingest data into data platform. 2) Data will have to be cleaned and harmonized. 3) APIs will have to be developed to expose data for downstream user applications 4) Infrastructure and tools have to be selected and configured to handle loads based on business needs Hope this helps

There are some interesting optimization use cases in logistics and transportation space. One of them is optimizing delivery of goods from warehouses to distributors / retailers. The following are the major levers 1) Optimize routes by dynamically clustering distributors / retailers based on location proximity, load and SLAs 2) Optimize truck selection and truck volume / weight utilization based on load and stacking constraints Solution becomes complex due to loading and stacking constraints and SLAs.
