I'm a Software engineer with an experience of approximately 4 Year's through my whole journey I think programming languages are the easiest one to learn if you have interest to this field. All though it is true that you have to find the great source of learning from which you can understand better. I'm a self taught programmer and in my opinion the better source for learning are YouTube, w3school for beginner's and for certificate LinkedIn and Udemy could be better options.

I am self taught programmer who has used a variety of formats, what I have found is to consider the websites structure as a whole and what you are trying to learn. If you are trying to just start programming, a site like ODIN project or freeCodeCamp.org will have a much more immersive quality that will really take you step by step, which is what you want when you are becoming familiar. If you are trying to learn a new framework or tool, sites like Udemy are really only going to have videos and may be some text to follow along with. This can be harder for new programmers because there is a lot more environment management with an IDE and deployment that can be distracting when you are just trying to understand the basics.

The path which the user is selecting must not give them a single way of learning like what Indian schools Provided for me. Instead it needs to be dynamic and self-sufficient and make the learner come and sit to the class area. There needs to be a speaking atmosphere which will enlighten them to learn. For Example having the streaks implemented in the course learning will provoke the learners to push them forward since there is a leaderboard which shows first and last and no one wanted to be last. By doing this one is provided different market strategy and competitive learning at the same time.

When taking online courses, I always look for the ones that offer both video and written media. With this, I have the flexibility to consume the course depending on my current environment and mood. I believe that the most effective way to learn a new programming language or a framework online is to go through the official documentations. Whereas on the online courses you would need to verify that they are still relevant. In addition, the benefit of learning from the docs is that you start familiarizing yourself with it early on, such that when you need the information later, you'd know where to find it. Lastly, by learning from the official docs, you get to see the project and it's intricacies from the author's perspective.

I would consider duration of the course and flexibility in learning! Custom made courses as per clients requirements, will save time and money for the clients rather than spending a whole month on the course and only one item is useful!
