What are the most effective methods for evaluating team performance on social media?

Goals lack execution if there is no accountability. In 2022 I started working with an Accountability Coach and it has changed my life. We hold a weekly 30min meeting to review my goals, weekly performance, and make plans for the upcoming week. I receive a weekly score out of 10 based on weighted metrics for each goal. By having a scoring system I am accountable to, I am able to track my progress and efforts each week. The analytics offer, by default: Number of visualizations Number of likes Number of followers Number of comments The time visitors, as a whole, spent on the video The share of visitors who saw all the video ( mine are videos lasting 10 long minutes...) All the metrics are for week duration, so you can see intervals as following One week Two weeks One month Two months A personal interval. Tik Tok offers, every time you connect, the "For you" agenda, where she shows videos, either randomly, withers based on user's viewing history, and by chosen filters. Most privileged are videos with many comments and where time of viewing is the entire video

Having relevant metrics is critical, especially when running a startup. Metrics for startups will be different than metrics for larger corporations. In the early stages of business, revenue targets may not be the focus. You may choose to focus your metrics on customer interviews, product validation scores, external social media mentions, etc. Figure out what activities move your business forward and begin tracking these metrics. If you can properly align your team’s key performance indicators, these will naturally lead to revenue targets.

Well I started, nearly kidding, a channel on Tik Tok. All was against me. It's the platform for 13's and I'm in my 70'. It's almost all about beauty, and I have no boobs(ehm,??), the platform rewards the number of videos, so publishing one gag of 5 seconds is more manageable than one complete video of 10 minutes, my standard format. I mix in persona videos, where I speak without dancing or smiling, with text videos, where I put down my reflections on economics, politics and social matters. In 8 months ( I started in June,2023), I had 850 videos uploaded 1M visualizations 23k likes 4,5k folliwers

Along with interviewing your team, conducting frequent customer interviews can be critical to make the necessary pivots in an early venture. Customer interviews and feedback is the key to properly guiding your business venture. The father of the Lean Startup, Steve Blank, says, “You are not smarter than the collective wisdom of your customers.” It is easy to assume what customers want but it is only when you test your assumptions to you find the truth. Customer interviews are the true test of finding idea validation and product market fit ??

As a Founder, validating your business model takes many attempts and involves frequent “failures”. Steve Blank, the creator of the Lean Startup method, says, “No business model will survive first contact with customers.” Meaning, your customers will provide you consistent feedback that you will need to apply in order to properly create the product / solution they need. Pivots are not failures. They are stepping stones towards a validated business idea & business model.

Assumptions are the enemy of running a successful startup. You need to operate on facts. Optimized performance, especially as a team, can only come once you have a validated product that fits the exact needs of your customers. As a Founder, it is essential to consistently be talking to your customers and conducting product interviews. Your customers will tell you what needs to be done faster & more accurately than you can discover yourself. When proper research & validation have been conducted, it can create confidence in the proper GTM strategy and ability to scale your business.
