There will be many concepts that may seem simple on paper but applying them in practical terms is challenging. By allowing students to pursue learning outside of the classroom on the concepts they can have a solid framework. Challenging them in class with case studies, students will attempt to teach each other what they believe is right and leads to productive discussions Since commercial real estate has so many elements, having diverse instruction and perspectives can allow for students to apply concepts in new and interesting ways This leads to the most long-term retention and allows them to be robust problem solvers when challenge arises

In this model, you alternate between online and in-class sessions throughout the course, depending on the learning objectives and outcomes. For example, you might start with an online session that introduces the topic and the learning goals, then have an in-class session that involves a practical activity or a guest speaker, then have another online session that provides more resources and examples, and so on. The interspersed flip is suitable for courses that have a more complex and diverse structure, and that require students to explore different perspectives and scenarios.
