What are the most effective e-learning methods for students who are auditory learners?

In my experience as an educator, allowing someone the ability to summarize the gist of a podcast or audiobook help cements learning. Creating opportunities to enter a forum to discuss the e-learning content also enriches learning by considering other view points.

I think audio classes are the best option. I listen to audiobooks and podcasts. Teachers can record their lessons and students can listen to them later is also an option

Listening to them intentionally involves notetaking and revision of key points. These help implement spaced repetition and active recall while consuming the content. If the intention of the podcast is to teach and not just inform them then they must be designed keeping such learning sciences aspects in mind.

Howard Gardner has apologized to the educational community for how his theory of multiple intelligences has been misinterpreted. There aren't actually visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. No one learns mathematics best through dance (physics, maybe?). It's great to provide multiple modalities (text, audio, visuals) to learners as well as observe accessibility standards. In fact, learners may prefer different approaches to learning due to a plethora of complex reasons or simply out of lack of access to multiple resources. Limiting students choice is never a great idea. Let them, instead guide you through UDL and Blended Learning practices and approaches to their learning application needs and preferences.
