1 Label Distribution Failure

One of the most common MPLS BGP issues is the failure of label distribution between routers. This can happen due to misconfiguration, incompatible protocols, or network errors. Without proper label distribution, MPLS traffic cannot be forwarded correctly and may result in packet loss, routing loops, or black holes. To fix this issue, you need to verify the label distribution protocol (LDP, RSVP, or BGP) and the label allocation mode (per-platform, per-VRF, or per-prefix) on each router. You also need to check the label bindings, the label forwarding information base (LFIB), and the routing table for any inconsistencies or errors.
