En mi opinión, el mayor error que podemos cometer en cualquier prueba de rendimiento es el no tener en cuenta el alcance del proyecto y las necesidades del cliente. Hay muchos factores a tener en cuenta a la hora de realizar estas métricas pero fundamentalmente son estos dos los que siempre te desvían de la necesidad real del cliente o acaban suponiendo una sobredimensión de la infraestructura. Seguramente no le interese el mismo performance a un Centro de Procesamiento de Datos que a una PYME basada en un comercio online. Y aunque ambos le darán la misma importancia, seguramente sacarán distintas conclusiones al analizar las métricas de rendimiento obtenidas y contrastarla con su modelo de negocio y su necesidad real.
