What are the most common conflicts between Agile developers and testers?

If you are a truly agile developer, you should not have a huge conflict with a tester, as you are also an agile tester. The only conflict I would expect is between agile developers when one is unwilling to help out with testing. In fact, both -- devs and testers -- should take part in writing agile requirements, so there should be no conflicts in that aspect of the work.

From my personal experience the best way to avoid the conflict is to develop the mindset that we all are working towards to acheive the same goal.For that it is really important to develop an atmosphere in team to share knowledge and help each other and make sure you work as team. A simple example, if a backend change is expected in an existing system,usually an experienced tester know in and out of application and easily identify the impact,so share your knowledge with dev so it will help him in implementing considering those areas.And same way when a bug is identified and some logs to be fetched ,so developer can help tester to educate on those areas where they are not that skilled as dev.

For this we can use tools like JIRA to track the testing details and add screenshots/documents if applicable. 3. Changing requirements: Developers and testers being not on the same page for the requirements change. Effective communication/collaboration is necessary for the same. Daily stand-ups should also help in solving the conflicts.

Most times, testers do not get enough time to test all the cases thoroughly.This is because development activity has always been overlooked in IT. Even a single line of code is altered,testers had to run multiple set of test cases to ensure the system behaves same before & after the change. This has been potential reason for conflict ,especially in agile world, where the needs keep changing from time to time.
