Always set the volume to really low in everything, all in mixer, input. left the speakers alone, only set if needed the maximum volume should be on your input, and balance on the mixer. there will be many types of cable and connectors, so acquire some basic knowledge on type of connector too high volume can create feedback noise or little explosive.

I can't tell you how many wedding photos I've seen ruined by a rats nest of cables balled up around the DJ booth or under the speaker stands. Shorter cables, an eye for detail, and a few velcro straps make all the difference. Clean cables are a sign of professionalism.

i always mark my cables with multicolour paper tape. so if something goes wrong, you know which cable needs to be managed by colour code. separate the cable by function like signal, digital, and power. always bring velcro straps. that's the easiest way to strap your cable together.

set 2 different microphones for certain types of voices. one for lower and heavy voice which you'll be focus on bass and upper bass area, and another one for high pitch voice to make sure the speakers don't spark when the person speak in a high pitch. if you hear an echo when you do the soundcheck, it'll be an echo when the audience talks a lot. set some dampers like carpet

This is just simple guidance, there's no one set to fit them all, but basically: - measure the room size, and divide by 3. For instance, if the room wide 6 metres, divide by 3, so put left speakers 2 metres from the left wall, and right speakers 2 metres from the right wall - know the wall material. ideally, speakers need at least 30 cm (12 inches) from the wall. if the wall is drywall, put some dampening like acoustic foam, or carpet. this will prevent the bass tube from echoing from the wall. - Never ever put a subwoofer on a table or rattle surface. sub needs to shake the floor. - to avoid feedback, place any digital input at least a half metre from the main speakers
