Be consistent with your policy and procedures document. Do not bend rules for certain hierarchy and enforce policy for the rest of the company. Your policy document and processes are the heart of the operation in managing an effective and efficient fleet roll out. Staff get to know how you manage, if you are a custodian of your companies policy and processes the staff are less likely to deviate from this. Keep your Company assets looked after as you would your own. Take pride in what you do and the rest will fall into place in managing a well run, well oiled fleet. Be the cog in the wheel! Keeping staff aligned to processes and policy and not being complacent equals an effective fleet protocol. Put the dynamics on the mechanics....
