You can distinguish this question between the term clean architecture and the term Clean Architecture, where the latter is an architecture guideline proposed by Robert Martin. In the end it comes always to the same, just with different terms and tiers in the model, depending on the systems use cases and technologies. Any clean architecture is separated in certain tiers with a defined set of directed interactions. There a several models how those tiers are separated (the famous Uncle Bob model), but also the various classical multi-tier models as for example defined by Martin Fowler, Grady Booch, etc. Feel free to add more names from your preferred architecture books here :)
