I would add the concept of lineage testing to ensure that everything which is stored in the DWH is traceable to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of the data. The key objectives of lineage testing in a DWH: 1?? Data Integrity: Lineage testing helps ensure that the data in the warehouse is trustworthy and reliable. 2?? Compliance and Audit Requirements: Lineage testing helps meet regulatory compliance and audit requirements by providing an audit trail of data from its source to its destination. 3?? Data Quality Assurance: By tracing the lineage of data, it helps detect anomalies, inconsistencies, or errors that may have occurred during ETL. 4?? Impact Analysis: understanding the impact of changes made to the data in the DWH.
