Hang on a second, let's read that again, and consider the concepts "bilingual" and "multilingual". It is agreed that you need to publish for your target market(s) - if you have more than two target markets: you'll need multilingual content creation. You then need a strategy about whether you choose to translate or even transcreate all texts from a single source text. Beware, however of the temptation to oversimplify things. You may still need three versions for the DACH market - Austria, Germany and Switzerland have a number of linguistic finesses and variations between their respective locales.

An 'investigative' approach. Perhaps, I took it the wrong way, but bilingual education / learning appeared to me as my own bilingual path to the subject of interest. You check up Wikipedia English version first, then your native tongue version. The Wiki articles usually are not translations, often they are original pieces and Ivan the Terrible's reign is described from different points of view. First you "communicate" with foreign language literature on the subject, and later you can be prepared to understand the reasons from the other board of the human ship. Take online / remote learning courses taught in a foreign language, and generate a bilingual or trilingual stream in your brain. A well-organized person will benefit greatly thereof.
