Revenue growth (like any of the other metrics below) is relative to other companies in the space. Early stage companies, because they are small to begin with, can have 50% - 200% YoY growth while more mature companies may have just 2% - 3% YoY. Understand not just how much the revenue growth was but the drivers for the growth - the why.

I would in short, look at revenue, profit margins, cash flow, and EBITDA to assess the target's financial health. Market Position: Evaluate the target's market share, brand strength, and competitive positioning. Synergy Potential: Estimate cost savings and revenue synergies that the acquisition could bring. While not a "metric", identifying acquisitions that are the right strategic fit for the acquirer is the most important factor. Understand the acquirer's and target's business deeply and think about how putting the two businesses together would create additional value.
