You should also mention the skills and experiences that make you qualified for the role and how you have developed them over time. Additionally, it is important to acknowledge any gaps or challenges in your resume and explain how you have addressed or overcome them. Lastly, be honest and authentic about your personality and work style.

The definition of EI is (Emotional intelligence) is the ability to understand your emotions, how they affect others, and what they mean. Five components follow: Self-awareness: The ability to understand your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. This includes knowing your strengths and weaknesses, and how others perceive you. Self-regulation: The ability to manage your emotions. Motivation: The ability to be motivated. Empathy: The ability to understand how others feel. even when different from your own. Social skills: The ability to communicate effectively. A few more may be Competence, Confidence, Character, Caring, and Connection. The hardest part is where to place on your resume which I would say directly after your summary paragraph

2 Show empathy

Empathy is the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes and understand their feelings, needs, and perspectives. To demonstrate this in your cover letter, you should research the company and the role to show you know what they are looking for and value. Additionally, use positive and respectful language that matches the company culture and the recipient's expectations. Furthermore, address the pain points or problems that the company or role faces and how you can help solve them. Lastly, express enthusiasm and appreciation for the opportunity and their time spent reading your letter.

In your cover letter, you can demonstrate social skills by writing clearly, concisely, and coherently, using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Avoid jargon, slang, or cliches that may confuse or turn off the reader. Additionally, tailor your message to the specific job and company instead of using a generic or template letter. Finally, end your letter with a call to action such as requesting an interview or inviting them to contact you for more information.

Ao invés de simplesmente citar Lideran?a, que tal exemplificar como tal habilidade foi importante em um projeto específico ou ainda na resolu??o de um grande momento de crise? Em oposi??o a uma simples men??o de comunica??o assertiva, já imaginou o peso maior que daria ao detalhar o uso desta skill numa situa??o de grande stress corporativo ou, quem sabe, na divulga??o de uma notícia ruim (mas necessária)? Exemplificar, detalhar seus resultados mais expressivos - definitivamente - será "o pulo do gato" quando mencionar suas soft skills.

Motivation is the ability to pursue and achieve your goals with passion, perseverance, and resilience. In your cover letter, you can demonstrate this by highlighting your relevant achievements and accomplishments, showing your eagerness to learn and grow, demonstrating your initiative and creativity, and conveying your confidence and optimism. To do this, use specific examples and numbers to quantify your impact, mention any relevant courses, certifications, or projects you have completed or are working on, suggest new ideas or solutions that you can bring to the role or company, and use positive and assertive language that shows your readiness for the job.
