What are effective ways to build trust with a mentee from a different generation?

It is crucial to listen to understand your Mentee in a unbiased, non judgemental way. As a mentor you want to be inclusive and supportive at all times. This means having a good awareness of generational influence trends whilst not assuming these are relevant or appropriate for your Mentee. Each Mentee is an individual with individual values that may or may not be strongly influenced by their generation.
