No puedes caminar si no conoces tu punto de partida. Suelo enviar un cuestionario sencillo para entender dónde está el grupo. Analizo el nivel de tensión o conflictividad y el nivel de conciencia sobre distintos desafíos que está enfrentando el grupo. Conocer el punto de partida nos ayudará a dise?ar el punto de llegada. Y cuando tenemos un punto de partida y un punto de llegada, sólo tenemos que unir ambos con las metodologías y los tiempos adecuados. Eso sí: yo no los uno en línea recta sino haciendo una U, como sugiere la "Teoría U" de Otto Scharmer. Recomiendo adentrarse más en el modelo. ?Qué significa avanzar haciendo una "U"? Significa que evitaremos los caminos obvios o simplistas y permitiremos que emerja lo nuevo y complejo,

This is true when a facilitator has time to do a proper TNA, however, in corporate training, the TNA usually ends at the Line Manager level. It is very important for a trainer/facilitator to have activities created and ready to deliver keeping all styles of learning in mind - use the VARK model for example. During the training sessions identify the quick learners and engage them to participate with the slow learners which motivate everyone to participate and learn.

This is absolutely essential. One method that has worked for me in classroom/virtual training is to establish a clear understanding of how I expect everyone to participate and engage in the learning process, not to fear giving a wrong answer as we are collectively learning. Asking open ended questions foster equal participation.

Hay que "coser" al grupo por dentro. Procuro acercar a los que se encuentran más alejados en sus identidades o posiciones convirtiéndolos en "buddies" durante el proceso: se convierten en una pareja con la que hablar en confianza sobre lo que están viviendo. ?Cómo formar estas parejas? La mejor manera de hacer esto es pedirles que se emparejen con la persona con la que menos hayan tenido oportunidad de hablar hasta el momento. Suele coincidir que es alguien muy diferente de ellos. Esto ayuda, especialmente en espacios polarizados, donde encari?arse con el diferente ayuda a progresar a otro nivel.
