In the modern times, the word " dispensary " is used along with Homeopathy doctors. Because, Homeopathy doctors run their clinic with medicines. But, in Allopathy system of Surgery and Medicines, it is called Nursing Homes, Trauma Centre etc, So, the exitance of dispensary is in question itself. Some where, Multi-medicines treatment are given by the doctors to patients in the name of Bio-chemic Medication or other own way of treatment. In government sector, Sadar Hospital, Referral Hospitals and Primary Health Centre, Additional Primary Health centre are in practices and public domain.

2 Skills and Qualifications

In my experience, good customer facing personal skills and reliability (showing up on time every day) are the keys. Everything else can be taught.

Working as a dispensary technician can be both challenging and rewarding. Some of the challenges you might face are dealing with difficult or impatient customers or patients, handling high demand and pressure during peak hours, staying updated on the changing laws and regulations regarding cannabis, and coping with the stigma or prejudice that some people might have towards cannabis or its users. Some of the opportunities you might have are learning more about the cannabis industry and its products, strains, and consumption methods, developing your customer service and sales skills, advancing your career to higher positions such as manager or supervisor, and making a positive impact on the health and well-being of the customers or patients you serve.

From my perspective a) biggest challenge is the surge nature of the business with customers showing up in surges at a certain time of day so it is becomes a “zoo” in the dispensary during the surge periods making it very high stress and b) learning retail to become a retail leader.
