Self assessment is imperative for success. Define your strengths and the needs of target audience to determine your direction. Also assess your writing style strengths. They will evolve as you learn each form and format to fit the eyes reading it.

I recall starting out with writing poems. Then I moved to short stories, then motivational articles etc. I experimented with all these forms of writing till I found that I am inclined to. That trial and error helped me discover what excitesw and what I feel very easy to write on. Therefore, to be able to choose an area of specialization in the writing industry, try different forms of writing and styles.

In my experience, getting feedback is absolutely essential. As a lover or collaboration, I believe other’s perspectives are vital. Collaboration while writing is crucial as it brings together diverse perspectives, enriching the content and making it more comprehensive. Additionally, it allows for faster progress by dividing tasks based on individual strengths and expertise.

Seeking and receiving feedback is everything when it comes to writing. Sure, you can write for yourself but the most important thing is that you write for others to read your work. By actively seeking their feedback, you are going to improve and find the little details that are going to make your work greater.

Feedback is essential to develop our writing skills especially as a newbie. Thus, we can seek it from our peers who have been expert at writing. Their honestly positive feedback can increase our confidence and bring us to the next level. On the other hand, some corrective feedback can be part of learning that we should take positively. No growth without correction. Lastly, we shouldn't give up on learning. We can start small by posting our ideas on blogs, social media or sharing them to our friends. Remember to always welcome any feedback as part of progress.

Things change. Inventions and amazing innovations continue. However, all peoples have the same basic needs. As the world becomes more and more enamoured with technoloogy, AI, and other devices, I suspect most of us will long for a human touch. May our writings always keep real live people (our readers!) in mind.

This way no matter how much platforms change, you still have core knowledge on a subject that can be shared through a variety of different mediums.
