As a former student athlete I wore shirts that stated things like "preparation is the key to success" albeit a little cliche it always held true then and it does even more so as a sales professional now. Anytime I've been worried/had anxiety about an upcoming meeting or presentation it's always been a signal that I haven't prepped enough to have the confidence to go into that meeting. Things I do to prepare such as research your prospect, have a clear agenda for the meeting and a goal you're trying to accomplish prior to the meeting alleviates any anxiety because you know no matter what the outcome you've done all you can. So I Prep, I Pray (or positive affirmations) and that allows me to Present with confidence and anxiety free.
