I always welcome the new trends/skills/demands in the industry. I personally encourage my team of developers to learn new technologies or tools. When they come up with the comparison between the current tech stack and the new stack. I ask them to show me Proof of concept to demonstrate the effectiveness & potential. As a developer I like to test new technologies in relevant proof of concept projects. It allows me to try out the new technology and review it's usefulness together with the stakeholders that might benefit from the new technology. Seeing is believing really matters in this type of scenario.

After finding the right tech for your business, start small. Make a tiny model that only does one thing. This helps you test the tech without taking big risks. As you test, add more features you want and had planned for. For each new feature, design different types of tests to make sure everything works as expected, especially since the technology is new. Some examples of tests you can design include: Unit tests, Integration tests, and System tests. Keep testing as you build more onto your model. This helps find problems early. If the new tech can really help your business after trying it out, then use it. But only use it if it's worth the time and money it takes to make it work.
